Scottish Tea and Christmas Bazaar
Saturday, November 26
With the skirl of bagpipes, sprigs of heather, and a high tea, this event is a highlight of autumn. Proceeds from this afternoon are used by the Women’s Guild to support over a dozen local charities, and to undertake projects around the church.
The St. Andrew’s Ensemble will perform two mini-concerts in the sanctuary during the Bazaar.
Please consider what you might add to Attic Treasures, the Silent Auction, or the art, books, linens, crafts and jewellery boutiques. If you are making baked goods, jams or preserves, consider putting some aside for the bazaar. Please bring your items, packaged and labeled, to Grant Hall starting Nov. 24. The Craft Group, who create the gift baskets for the Bazaar, would appreciate donations of such things as chocolates, small packages of fancy cookies, special teas or coffees, fancy soaps and hand creams, guest napkins or other small items that would look nice in a gift basket. We can use these items any time until mid-November.
For information or with an offer to assist, call Gail B. or the church office, 613-232-9042.
