Do you have an idea that would help us as Christians make connections with people in our community? Perhaps an event or an ongoing programme that would allow relationships to be built on common ground, encouraging growth of relationship? It doesn’t matter if your idea is in the seed stage or if it’s well developed, bring it to the table for discussion. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t yet have a suggestion to bring forward. Join us and perhaps you will be inspired by the conversation.
The Growth Committee is hosting a luncheon workshop to brainstorm some possibilities for the congregational year, September 2013 – June 2014. Please consider this a personal invitation to help shape this continued growth of the church as a people of both witness and service in this city. As Christians and specifically as members of St. Andrew’s, there is much we can share with, and much we can learn from, the community beyond our congregation.
We gather for supper in St. Andrew’s Hall. He will provide an historical perspective on Syria, the evolutionary factors that brought it to its current situation and an appraisal of that situation. Please register with Colin F.
A pause mid-day for beautiful organ music performed by our Director of Music, Thomas Annand.
