St. Andrew’s is a vibrant, caring community and you are invited to be a part of it. There is a wide range of groups for study and community, from Bible studies to support groups to socials to musical opportunities. There are a number of monthly and weekly events for all ages that you would be most welcome to join.
Nursery: ages 0-1
A trained nursery worker and volunteers care for young children during the 11 a.m. Sunday morning worship service. A nursery pager system is available.
Church School: ages 2 – grade 10
Passing on the faith to our children, church school classes are taught by enthusiastic and caring teachers.
Kids’ Church:
Experiential worship for children ages 1-10. Selected Saturdays at 4:15 p.m. with light dinner to follow.
Croissants and Conversation: grades 7-12
Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., meeting to talk about diverse topics of spirituality and culture.
College & Careers: ages 18-25
A community that meets once a month to share a simple meal and discuss questions of the church, faith and the world.
Upper Room: ages 25+
This diverse group meets monthly for a potluck meal, topical study and discussion.
Seasonal Wednesday Evening Studies
Twice a year, we meet for six Wednesday evenings to share a simple meal and to gather in small groups for study.
Confirmation Classes
From time to time classes are also offered for young people to discuss what it means to become a member of the church.
Mid-week Bible study
Held once a month at St. Paul’s Presbyterian, a study led by Rev Andrew Johnston.
Caregiving Group
Providing care for the caregivers, a time of support and discussion.
Church Choir
Sharing our gifts of music for Sunday morning worship. Practices weekly.
Handbell Ringing
Sounds that will lift your spirit, plays selected Sunday mornings at St. Andrew’s and other churches in the area.
Knitting in the Round
An informal twice monthly meeting for crafters of all ages and skill levels.
Men’s Fellowship
Monthly meeting of men of all ages with a shared meal, short devotion and theme discussion.
Prayer Group
This faithful group meets weekly at the church to pray for the needs of the church and community.
Rainbow Circle
This group provides mutual support and opportunities to learn more about issues of sexual orientation.
Women’s Guild
These women organize events such as the St. Andrew’s Rummage Sale, Scottish Tea and Bazaar and other church events.
Women’s Missionary Society
A monthly meeting at the church for worship, mission presentations and refreshments.
