To celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, we welcome the Rev. Ken Gehrels of Calvin Christian Reformed Church, in celebration of the growing relationship between our denominations in Canada.

“Do not be afraid” – 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
We continue our journey through the Gospel according to Mark, with a scene in which our Lord speaks words of assurance for all his followers (Mark 6:47-56)

“And he had compassion for them” – 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
As part of our worship of God this morning we celebrate the work of Christ’s compassion (Mark 6:30-44) that we support through Presbyterian World Service and Development. We welcome Barb Summers of PWS&D with an update.

“The Word of God through your tradition” – 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Upon recommendation of the General Assembly, we include in our worship of God a time of reflection upon our heritage as a congregation and as Christians. And we recall words of challenge from our Lord (Mark 7:1-23).

  • Burns Supper - Saturday, Jan 28th at 6:00 PM

    Saturday January 28 – Gathering 5:30 p.m., Dinner 6 p.m.
    Come and enjoy some Scottish fare – Soup, Steak Pie, Haggis, Steak Pie, Trifle – with toasts to the Immortal Memory, to the Lassies and a selection of Burn’s songs.

    Our speaker will be Rabbi Bulka, well known in Ottawa and a regular columnist for the Ottawa Citizen’s ‘Ask the Religion Experts’. He will be speaking on the Israeli/Palestinian situation: ‘What will it take to achieve peace?’ Contact Colin F. for more information.
