St. Andrew’s has installed seven high throughput medical grade air purifiers in the sanctuary that filter, several times an hour, >99.9% of airborne particulates, including the COVID 19 virus. When used in conjunction with the wearing of masks, as still recommended by Ottawa Public Health, the likelihood of airborne transmission of COVID-19 and other viruses, is considerably reduced during worship.
